Admissions & Finances
Our O’Hara mission and vision states that we are a national leader in the education and formation of students. The Regina Chesterton program is one way that we achieve this goal. RCA is an excellent program for motivated students. The program has garnered national attention, and diocesan schools around the country are consulting with Cardinal O’Hara as to how to implement a classical program in their schools.
Tuition & Fees
The Cardinal O’Hara Alumni Legacy Scholarship, sponsored by the Alumni Association, will be presented to six members of the Class of 2023 who have a parent and/or grandparent that graduated from Cardinal O’Hara. The scholarship is for $1,000 per year for four years based on a student’s good academic and behavioral standing. The deadline for application is Thursday, January 9th. (Only students with completed admissions applications by January 9th will be considered for the award.)

STEP 2: SCHOLARSHIP EXAM
In order to qualify for academic scholarships, students must take the Scholarship Exam at Cardinal O’Hara High School on either Saturday, 10/20 OR Sunday, 10/28.
The access code is Z3. The registration fee for the exam is $35.00 and MUST be paid via credit card through the link above. Online registration must be completed at least two (2) days before the scheduled exam date.
STEP 3: RECORDS RELEASE FORM
Please download the Request for Release of Records form on the menu on the right. Parents should print out the form, complete/sign it and submit it the student’s current school. (Do not send this form to Cardinal O’Hara. This will only delay the process!) School records, including academic grades, standardized test scores, and discipline & attendance records, can be emailed or mailed to O’Hara. It may be helpful to submit the request to the current school with a stamped return envelope and a request that it be done within 7 days. It is not essential that the student’s 8th grade report card be included. Parents can send a copy at a later date when it is available.
STEP 4: FINANCIAL AID AND MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
